The Bidasoa River born in Navarra with the name Baztán and when it enters in the province of Guipúzcoa gets the name of Bidasoa. This river flows into the Bay of Txingudi, between the towns of Hondarribia and Hendaia. For some people is a natural border between the countries of Spain and France, but for others it is a river that divides the territories of the Basque Country, Guipúzcoa and Lapurdi.
Definitely, it is a river with a lot of history because of its geographical location.
We will start the journey in the charming town of Biriatou to head north until we reach the "island of the Faisanes", a small island full of stories that is shared between the governments of Spain and France. Here we will make a small break before we put on the way to the town of Hondarribia.
The trip get to the end in Hondarribia´s beach.
